My heat pump and resistance back-up (toaster) have been on for the last week continuously, since its so cold here in NJ now. But I picked up a new filter and swapped it out, and the toaster went off within 1/2 hour! And its not just chance as its getting later and thus colder into the evening.
Now I figure the toaster costs me $20 a day more than just heat pump. Filter was an alergen one for the wife, but still only cost $20. Go figure.
