changing light bulbs in parking lots

we are getting a bucket truck

does anyone out there change light bulbs in outdoor light poles at malls or offices

if so whats the going rate

Electrical contractors seem to have that locked-up. Only because they have wholesale access to bulbs & ballasts. If you do, scout out a few plazas or malls & ask the maintenence man about current pricing. He should be willing to tell you or put you in touch with purchasing dep't. head. Conversation is good. The company I work for does this. They charge by the hour with a 4 hr. min. and whoever we do the work for provides the lights and a diagram of what ones they want changed. Also don't forget airplane hangers just did one a couple weeks back, for the better part of a day. That was a good one too, it rained all day and was inside changing lights while every one else was working in the rain.
