Oh, by the way, think 301 half hard stainless steel.

Shhh, don't say it too loud. The US Forestry Service might hear! I have it on good authority that this saw would have to be used for competition only, otherwise it might burn down the forest. Seems the 3/4" I removed from the length of the dogs voids the muffler approval in the States.

I should have caught that. I ddid the same to a Makita 7301!
