chipping palm frons..........

anyone have any experience in chipping up palm frons?????
getting sick of hauling frons to the landfill. they take up so much room in the trailer. let me know.....

Drum chippers seem to do a better job with palm fronds.
If you're using a disc chipper, I've found that feeding them backwards, i.e. tips first, and one at a time will prevent most of the wrapping problems.

Its a art form, But I believe you can hand stack more in the truck than you can chip.
