Clamshell sealant cleaner

Anyone know what to clean old sealant off of clammys? I've used carb cleaner, brake cleaner and (old)acetone with not much success. It softens it but doesn't really get it off. It's gray so not dirko. Moto seal maybe.

I use a plastic scraper and gasket remover. Even with that it's a pain.

Lacquer thinner spayed on, then a long coarse wire brush. Then spray it clean with lacquer thinner again, and hit with compessed air to end up with a nice clean oil free surface.
Yamabond 4 is the "yama-bomb" .
I put that $h¡t on everything.......
