Well, have had this RSF installed about four seasons now. Noticed this year that it didn't seem to be heating as well as it has been. I noticed at the beginning of this season that the stove was covered with about 1/8" of ash and dust that gets sucked up through the bottom vent and fan.

Being we had a warm day, I let the stove go out and pulled the vent covers. Vacuumed out the ash and dust...wiped down everything I could reach. Lit it off tonight and its a different stove...heating like it used to, lots of heat!

One disadvantage of a built-in stove...
