compression ratio

Dose any one know what the compression ratio of a chainsaw is or the clearance volume/ pistion displacement?

roughly 10:1 but it varies with the saw, some higher some lower. Was that your question?

yes it was. i kind of figured that not all the saw were the same. it gives me enough numbers to see if changing the squish band would really do anything. thank you
