How do you do it ,hot or cold,what brand of tester do you like?
Cold ,Snap on. Any good brand will work as long as it has a scrader valve at the tip.How do you do it ,hot or cold,what brand of tester do you like?

I have done it too.You either work on really old saws, transcend the laws of physics, or have low standards pertaining to adequate thread capture.
My saw is brand new. I have been known to defy the laws of physics. Low standards? Well, ya, maybe.
