The NIB/NOS Craftsman is a Roper.

The one in the image \/ provided by Acornhill is a Poulan.

Might be able to round you up a red 3400,but no 3700.

I know this is a good saw with decent power, cause it is the saw my father has had forever. But compared to a stihl or husky, what do you think it would be equal to?

Nothing current. Modern saws are higher revving.
