Morning folks, question. BIL dug his Dad's old Sears 3.7 out of the shed while we were there over Christmas. Told him I would work on it and see if we could get it started. Fun challenge. Cleaned it up a bit, dumped some fuel it in and presto! fired right up. P&C are perfect. Then the fun started. The biggest challenge is the fuel line. I guess his Pop left if full of fuel 30 years ago and it was a gelatinous mess. Needless to say, fuel line was shot. Sorry, now the questions:
Got fuel tank spotless without splitting the cases. Has anyone used a similar(read homelite super xl) molded fuel line to replace the stock one. It looks similar. Of course stock ones are unobtainium. I really don't want split the case if I don't have to, but I may have to and use grommets/yamabond/fuel line/etc to make it work.
If I do split the case, how the hell do you take the clutch off this thing
Thanks
