Web search finds not much info so does anyone know how or if Cupressus macrocarpa can be used for beach side pier pylons/planks
I have heaps of good solid logs looking for a use and just ATM arises a need to find pier timbers.

Not sure about the cyprus as posts in the sea but I am building an Irish currach out of it at the moment. Where is the pier?

franga, thou no need to worry as I found Cypress while ok is not as good as other. The idea was to reuse what we have & we still may mill planks but not use for pylons as concrete or hard wood far better uniform in size and so easier to install.

A wee little boat aye lad, thy be grand ;) sorry my poor effort in Irish
