I've got a big pile of hard Eucalyptus that was cut about 5 years ago. I need to cut it into smaller pieces so my splitter will split it.The rounds are from 12" to about 36" dia. I've got a Husky 262xp with a 24" bar. Should I try a shorter bar, and what's the best type of chain to use for this rock hard wood?

No reason to have all that extra bar sticking out in the wind. But then again if it is the only bar you have use it.. I would suggest for chain..Just a sharp one.Noodling does not need anything other than sharp.
