did some miilling today

I bought home some large limbs from a chesnut oak. the small one is 27"ish diameter the large one is 31" diameter both are pretty uniform throughout their length. today i milled the smaller one in to a 15x17" cant. other than setting up my first cut so the wind was blowing it my face it went rather smoothly. it's still very green and i have no idea what i'm doing to do with it.

Can't complaint about that progress

Looks great..and hope the can't is what you were hoping for? Remember to cut the pith out somehow to avoid the cracking and checking that goes along with milling.
