Does anyone climb with the spiderjack 2.1?

If you have climbed the spider jack 2.1 do you see a safety issue with having a lever to release a brake instead of grabbing a friction hitch? I could see the lever to release the spider jack getting released accidentally by many things in the work place while a friction hitch is much harder to accidentally release.

It's a non-issue

I have a lock jack and I could see it happening with the right circumstance. The lock jack releases when you take you weight off the line.

I've never had it happen with the lockjack. I'm not sure if it would be easier to do with the spiderjack. Either way after using the lockjack for 2 years then going back to the vt/hitchclimber it felt pretty primitive.
