Hello, I'm looking for some help with a carrotwood tree. It's about 5 years old and always been healthy. I recently noticed something oozing from where two branches split. I spray some pruning seal over it to try to get it to heal up, but that didn't seem to help. I think the yellow color is just pollen sticking to the moisture. The black in the middle is from the pruning seal. Here are a couple photos. This is a beautiful tree and the largest in my backyard. I really don't want to lose it. Thanks in advance.

It looks like slime flux oozing from the weak crotch on your highly invasive carrotwood tree. Also it appears that mold is growing on the bacterial wetwood excretions. Looks unsightly however harmless, weak crotch needs support.
