I am new to this site, but have been reading through the threads. I have found a used Dolmar PS510 near me at school and I was thinking about taking it home to the farm to replace our dead Echo cs3400. We really kind of killed that saw by asking it to do too much after the old Farmboss 041 (I think that is what it was) died and didn't get a replacement. Anyway, I have been reading and have found this saw for $225 supposed to be like new with a new spare chain. It has an 18" bar too, which would be nice, as we have a CS340 (newer one we have taken care of and kept around the house) to do smaller stuff with. From reading on here everyone raves about the 5100 and 5105, but for something that we will just be clearing fence rows, cutting fence boards/posts, and doing general work, should the 510 be a good fit. Heavier is not really a problem, as it won't be getting used all day. And being a little slower spinning might be a good thing with some of the guys that are using it... if you know what I mean. Also, is that a fair price for a like new used saw?
Thank you in advance!
