Sold Dolmar 5105

Pretty clean dolmar 5105 2010 model
Non easy start, 14,500 coil.
Previous owner did a front port muffler mod, I split the muffler and removed the cat, slight timing advance. Squish was .035 with a .040 gasket, I made a new base gasket out of .025 gasket paper and sealed it up with 518.
Good running saw!
$250 plus shipping f&f or add 3%
Saw can be set up for 3/8 or .325 I have bar and chain options for both for extra money.

I wanted to do some timed testing vs my red headed 346. They both have the same mods done. Tested with .325 7 pin, 8 pin and 3/8 7 pin. Same bar & chain in 14 inch red oak. 5105 was faster 2 out of 3!

Something that I found interesting Tim was the 5105 was faster with the .325 7 pin and 3/8 7 pin. Why was the 346 faster with a .325 8 pin? Now it wasn't faster by much but it was consistent.

Too many variables. Grab a different round of wood, take a couple swipes off of the rakers, get a different operator, each time all of the results would vary. The Huskies usually have a narrower working RPM, but a peakier powerband. Eight pin could have just put it in the sweet spot for the way you cut.
