Was reading on here about a guy who had a dolmar for sale, someone asked if it had the epoxy in the carb... What does this mean? I have the same saw and have never heard of this.
The adjustment screws are sometimes epoxied in place making them non adjustable but the epoxy can be dremeled out freeing the screws so they can be adjusted. That`s the H and L fuel mix screws.
Dolmar saws came with the adjustment screws epoxied for a few months because of the epa. Short lived thing but a very aggravating thing if you have never dealt with it before. Very quick and easy to bypass once you have done a few
Did all those saws also have a cat muffler?? As I recall, the first step on my 421 was removing the cat from the muffler then deal with the epoxy on the high jet. Retune and enjoy!
