Dolmar.. Epoxy in the carb??

Was reading on here about a guy who had a dolmar for sale, someone asked if it had the epoxy in the carb... What does this mean? I have the same saw and have never heard of this.

This might be totally off, but I believe some guys block off a sort of secondary idle passage on some zama carbs as it hinders tuning abilities.
 
Dolmar saws came with the adjustment screws epoxied for a few months because of the epa. Short lived thing but a very aggravating thing if you have never dealt with it before. Very quick and easy to bypass once you have done a few
 
Did all those saws also have a cat muffler?? As I recall, the first step on my 421 was removing the cat from the muffler then deal with the epoxy on the high jet. Retune and enjoy!
