Dual Port

Ok 084 Guru's. I just received a new to me 084. Check out the exhast picture. I am assuming this is some kind of a modded dual port. Any comments on the design.

I had to run out and look at mine...2 -1/2in holes with a deflector over the front one is what I have..Mine looks like #14 and 16..

I beileve that's just the early style muffler.

That's got to be a factory muffler, looks the same as the one I'm running. I made one saw out of two, got two mufflres. One is like this, the other has a single hole with a screen. This one looked like it would flow better, so I used it!
