I have two crimson maples in my front yard that were planted three years ago. One of them is doing great and is covered with leaves. The other looks like it is dead with no leaves or buds of any kind. The bark is peeling and curling from around the base of the tree. The odd thing is that the tree is growing taller. It is about three feet taller than the other. I am hoping that there is something I can do to save it. I am new at this and would greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!
