Best advice, stay away. I believe that the minimum distance that you should be is 10'. Maybe someone who does line clearance will chime in.

Any tips for working around power lines? I don't have ehap training yet. Also, how hard is it for someone self employed to get?

Dont go near them!No metal poles, chipper should be off so a spotter can watch you and talk, never turn your back on wires.Use a bucket truck that was tested, dont climb near wires ,cut small pieces, dont work in the wet ,dont use a dirty rope use a new one.

EHAP Electrical Hazards Awareness Program

TCIA’s Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (EHAP) has trained thousands of arborists involved in line clearance and those working on residential properties near energized lines. It is widely recognized as the industry training standard to help comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 regulations. Topics focus on training requirements that serve as a prerequisite for working within 10 feet of an electrical conductor. Participants will learn about identifying electrical system components, the presence and nature of electrical hazards, protective measures available, and common unsafe acts to avoid. This course is appropriate for line clearance arborists, LCA trainees and residential commercial arborists. Accompanying TCIA EHAP materials (a retail value of $135) will be provided at no additional charge. Lunch is included.

If it is a line between the transformer and house, many power companies (free of charge) will either cut the power off or (ideally) put the line on the ground for you (it is better for them than cleaning up the mess later...)
