Just seen an commercial on Discovery Channel about a program that looks like it is going to involve alot of tree climbing. Im gonna watch it. Thought maybe you guys might like to check it out. I will update when I catch the time and day again.

It was on Sunday night and there is a replay Thurs night at 9 (est).

Pretty cool stuff. There is a scientist who spent a majority of her time on a platform in the canopy (3'x3' aluminum suspended by climbing lines, lines looked like "the fly"). They shot crossbows up to get their lines installed and SRT'd up, but also had a backup line, I'm guessing this was the true doubled rope technique.
The coolest part for me was when two scientists abseiled into a 500+ ft sinkhole:yoyo:
