So ive been considering getting a bandsaw mill for stuff under 36" wide, which is 95% of what I'm milling. I do mostly live edge slabs because I use a chainsaw mill, and dimensional lumber is a major PITA with it.
I'm looking for a "budget" mill that will cut somewhere around 40" wide. I'll eventually "sell" my 660 and get a 3120 or an 880 for stuff the bandsaw mill can't handle.
The boardwalk 40 seems like a perfect mix between capacity, simplicity and cost at $7200.
Any body have any other options that fit the bill? I don't need hydraulics or for it to be portable. Looking mostly for capacity at a decent price.
