Hello,

I am finding that I need to upgrade my torx drivers. The set I currently have are too short and too fat to fit into cylinder heads and recessed mufflers. Been living too long with the T-27 Stihl "L" wrench! LOL. Today I needed a T-30 to remove a muffler on a Poulan and didn't have it. So time to add to my tool collection.

Recommendations?

Thanks,
Steve

I use an Irwin long-reach bit set I got through work, so far it's fit in every cylinder I can recall coming across. My kit looks like this:

Thanks, I tried to find anything on the Irwin website but it has turned to garbage since being bought out by Stanley Black and Decker.

When I need to add to my assortment of torx or hex drivers, I buy the Carlyle tools from NAPA. Coming from an automotive mechanic background most of my hand tools are SnapOn. I don't have problems with the Carlyle and SnapOn tools fighting, yet!
I actually work at Napa, I don't recall seeing any Carlyle bits that were the long-reach type available so I ordered the Irwin set through work instead. If @SteveSr wants I can get him a Napa part# and he can check the availability through Napa.
