Ok, I have been poking around for a long and decided it was finally time to support this site. I was a logger and decided to start working in the mills for better, year round pay. I worked as a Millbilly for 3 years before I was critically injured and partially paralyzed in 2015 in a milling accident. I have been recovering since and I'm walking again.

I love my saws and still find any excuse to fell a tree, as long as my body allows me too.

I can see why they are going by Millbilly. Sounds like they are trying to dissociate themselves from the "Left Coast liberals."

I am not longer partially paralyzed, its been a 9 year recovery with many surgeries. I can walk again. Some days I can't fell a tree, some days I can do 3 or 4 trees.

Funny discussion about a Millbilly. It's someone who works in the sawmill. Most of the employees are not sophisticated by any means, they're more like hillbillies....that work in the mill.
