I've got a friend at work who does small projects like this all the way up to huge pieces that weigh up to a ton, it's more art than fab.

It's just regular mild steel and bolts. I think it's just the lighting that makes it shine. I will probably end up painting it with high temp black paint.
Ya before I started welding I looked up all the different hand gestures I could have done (some pretty rude but funny), but I wanted it to be practical as well. Pokey, hooky and somewhat family friendly
