Some of the terminology seems to be regional. Around here a face cord (one third of a full cord) is a very common term and most wood is advertised and sold that way. A face cord would be 4 x 8 x 16".

In SE WI, you can buy a load of 'seasoned' (That's another relative term) hardwood for about $90.00 delivered and dumped.
 
hey jasoutside, I do the same thing you do, selling around 30-50 face cords a year. I am in Gratiot County, and am getting 50 dollars for pure seasoned oak picked up, and charge around 10-15 dollars to deliver within a certain range.
