Well after burning up my 660 I decided it was time to begin a search for a new saw. My first brand new saw. Initially I was leaning towards a Stihl because that is what I have always ran. After seeing a 362R at my local stihl shop I was initially drawn towards that, but after picking it up and feeling how much heavier it was then the 361 I started looking for a saw that was in that weight class.
I had a chance to run a 576xp and was amazed at how smooth it was. Way smoother then my 660 or my buddies 460. I looked into getting one, but wanted something with a little less weight. I settled on the 372xp because its lighter weight, and all the positive reviews I have read on them. I have to say. I'm impressed with this saw! I can't wait till its broken in.
Now I have a Swedish saw to match my newly hafted Swedish axe. Here are some pics.
