I've had that thing sitting on my bench for a while now, so I decided to give it a try on some small (10") logs.

It's OK...But messy. Real hard to do a smooth job.

I was using a little Husky with a 16" bar. Might go better with one of my bigger saws. That little bar has a lot of flex.

I've got one of those, and I believe it belongs on the bench. I've only used it a few times. The granberg minimill that I have gets used all the time, night and day difference.

I only use mine to split outside cants off big logs to fit on the bandmill. It works well when you already have a flat side but it's a pain any other way.
