Wanted to let everybody know the Fort Bragg logging contest is a go this year on Labor Day weekend. The prize money is $500 for first $300 for second $200 for third. The events will be Single buck, Double buck, Chopping, Axe throwing, Chain Saw bucking, Choker setting and Opst.pole bucking.
Unfortunately, just like in the old days, only Mendocino Co. Residents are welcome to enter. To bad, it use to be one of the most competitive and best paying shows in the nation. Being afraid of the competition will never make you learn, and people want to see the best competitors from all around. Come out of the woods and open the show back up to all. Rollin
