Anyone out here work in the "Four Corners Area?"
How do you like it?

I have worked in Farmington ,NM and Durango, CO-but it has been several years. It is a nice area.

I have been offered a job in Farmington.
I will be moving from SF Bay area. I am very familar with Durango,Mancos, and Cortez.
What do you think about wages, and what do you think about living there?
I was all over Farmington last week, I did not see any whereI was interested in living.

Your gonna find that there isnt really all that money. There may be a few high rollers, but the magority of the home owners are gonna be Indian/Mexican and dont really care what thier trees look like. (not that there a lot of trees there in the first place) I have worked in Farmington NM and Durango Co, but never on tree jobs. I would think however that starting up a tree service in the 4 corners area would be a futile effort. Just my $.02 worth.
