Overview: These seminars will cover the fundamentals of modern climbing and rigging with explanations and demonstrations of the necessary tools. The first session is in an introductory format, whilst designed for novice climbers, will be an excellent eye opener and refresher course for seasoned veterans. Safety factors and industry regulations will be stressed.
The second session will focus on the rigging requirements for removals and felling. Both tools and techniques required to perform standard and even unique removals in a safe and effective way will be covered in great detail. Attendees will be shown the advantages of many tools as well as the benefits related to maximizing mechanical advantage on the job. This section of the seminar will serve to explain and demystify some of the more complex aspects of rigging, while encouraging attendees to work safer and more efficiently.
