One fringe benefit of a local vs. internet dealer is free stuff!
Was in today talking bows and such and while in the back I asked about an MS440 powerhead hanging on the rack. Head tech said "sure you can have it, it's a junk saw. Guy gave us three powerheads to make one good one."
So I walked out with a junk saw - less the recoil cover, bar cover, air filter assembly/cover.
I'm assuming it's junk (even though the cylinder and piston look GREAT) but at least I can goof around w/ it! If nothing else I got a free sparkplug!
