Free saw score!

Long story short, answered a clist ad saying the owner had a free "broken" saw. Said the chain came off the bar and that the bar was broken.

I get there expecting a total pos, and instead stumble upon this:

Feeling bad I tell the owner that it is easily fixed by getting a new bar (it was clearly bent from him bending it back and forth after getting it pinched)

He tells me no problem, he already got a new saw! (A depot special homelite nonetheless)

So I get it home, and it fires first pull! I'm gonna go through it and clean it up and put an oregon bar and chain on it. While it's clearly a chinese saw, It seams of decent quality. Anybody have any experience w/ one of these?

I wondered about that saw I had seen it in the catalog. Might be a good loaner saw.

That is a great price for a Chinese saw, I would get a Chinese saw for that price.
