Even though this years wood hasn't been dropped of yet I had enough to keep me busy. I had already gathered up the deadfalls from a couple years so I figured this was a good way to warm up for the season.. I had a couple maple, lots of poplar and some cedar.. I threw them into to piles as I spilt them. Maple I'll burn in the house, poplar in the shed and the cedar I spilt just to get a start on it but I'll spilt it abit more for some decent kidling.
after it got dark it was time to take the dogs for a run!
