Im looking at trying 2 truck loads of spaded trees mapel varity 45 per load approx 4" caliper cost is 80 per tree deliver . The nursery said if i drop then in the ground basketed i can sell them all summer. Do yall think theyll live and is that a great price for 90 trees. Will they be stunted .lookin for all the advice i can get .I havent got into planting trees yet but this might be a good way to start?

A 4" caliper tree for $80 is a good price. Be very careful. That price sounds too good. Do you know the grower and can you see the trees in the field before they are dug? Do you have a water source to irrigate them during the season? Do you already have customers lined up to buy the trees or are you hoping for the best? If you are buying these trees sight unseen, I would pass.
