As I said before my Son is a large man. BUT, For christmas his small wife bought him a new saw. I had given him a 044 and a 021. She bought from a local dearler a husky 390xp, I guess she thinks he needs to cut the top of the mountain off.

Luck Sucker..............
She needs to talk to my wife. I KNOW I not getting a chainsaw at all for Xmas and if I did it would probably be a Poulan or something.

Yeah, unless he's an arborist or milling, that's more saw than he needs. A 3' bar is a nice fit fo the saw and that's only good for cutting off stumps and the occasional big log (over 4'), otherwise the 44 is a nice saw.
There is no such thing as too much saw...............
