Got gas, got spark, but no start?

I recently was asked to look at a stihl chainsaw that wouldn't start, it was getting gas (i smelled it, plug was wet), and spark, but no go. I found it had only 73 lbs compression, and the cylinder and piston were badly scored, so there it is folks. I know for most his is basic stuff, but I hope it might help some new to chainsaw repair
