My son borrowed my absolutely brand new saw that I had never even ran and ran it on gas with no oil while I was away. I am here hoping to find the resources to fix it.

Post pics of the piston through the exhaust port. (Pull the muffler off). Depending on how long it was run the damage might not be that bad.


never-mind…saw your other post. Toast…most likely needs new top end.
not hard if you are mechanically inclined …pricy, if not.

Best option…have him buy a new saw.

I don't remember ever loaning a saw out... I usually volunteer to cut the wood for them.
