HELP.... Are Redwoods near a pool ok?????

We are planning a pool and are just days away from digging, but recently was told that we may have a concern with our redwood trees. We have a total of 16 trees in the back yard and 6 or 7 of them will be near the pool... within just a few feet.

Is there anything that we can do to train the roots away from the pool? They are 3 years old and most of them are 12 or 13 feet tall as of now.

You can't stop the roots or the rest of the tree from growing. You should move these trees imo way too close.
