Hi
I have an old Jonsereds. Most likely from the 80's. It has major carb problems, so i think it is worth a kit if it doesn't cost too much.
However, there is no model number.
It has a little plate on it with the number 887007. It also has a Tillotson carb.
Can someone identify this chainsaw? I looked at some pics on the web and it kinda looks like a model 70.

Thanks
Also where is a good place to get a rebuilt carb or a kit?
THX

Welcome to AS Jocoman,
Carb kits are available at small engine repair shops, new saw vendors for Jonsered or Husqvarna or tool rental shops in their service departments. Call around to make certain they do to save you a trip.
Kits cost around $13.00 for a complete kit.

Here is a list of all Jonsered models click on "next page" for more models.

Most have pics below.

Here is a good mail order place in Canada for carb repair kits.
Banta saw, you'll have to Google it.

model 80

Thanks
Pretty sure it is a model 80. Found the carb kit at the Cdn site and ordered it.
Thanks again.
