Help me ID this tree. Ambrosia beetles got to it this summer and it doesn't look like it's going to survive. I've had two local arborists look at it and neither know what it is.
The tree has relatively smooth bark, wood is very dense. It produces white flowers in the spring with a fruit/nut. Any ideas?
