I posted request for light weight saw, hunt/fish camps and firewood and was impressed with the response. I am thinking of finding a ms180 with scored piston and replacing the cylinder and piston with a one from a ms210. The stroke is the same but I am unsure whether or not it will bolt up. Also, the carb will probably be different, the muffler seems to be the same. I would probably be better off just finding an ms211, a redmax 3800 or similar but it seems that I just have to have a winter project. I am also looking at an 026 with case, several 20inch bars, 6 new chains etc. this weekend. It is supposed to be super clean so my search ay be over. Can the ms180 swap be done?
