I never use these saws and plan to put on local c-list. The 026 is not a PRO has base gasket delete, all original OEM but had to shave about .005" off the outer crown of the piston----comp. is around 205psi. Bar on 026 is 16" 3/8" pitch. The 036 PRO has a new Meteor piston with base gasket delete is around 165psi. Bar is 20" 3/8" pitch, chain is pretty well used up.

026’s go for right around $200 around here. Likes like yours is in excellent shape so could go for $250 to the right buyer.

I’d say $300 for the 036, maybe $350 at the end of the rainbow.

BTW, both says look like they are super clean!

Both those saws look really clean and that's exactly what I was looking for.
Too bad for me............. I bought an 036 last weekend. Woulda' bought yours!!

My guess for pricing:
026 $250
036 $350
IMHO those prices are a couple bucks on the plus side because the saws are so clean

$250ish on the 026 as the mods might actually hurt it. That 036 is nice and one of my favorites as I paid $500 for one almost new in the case recently and it is a looker. On the 036 you are looking at $400ish. Both are very very nice saws and for anybody that gets them will be money well spent. I basicly stole an 036 on Ebay (just listed $175) that looks every bit as good as yours. I put a Meteor piston in as cylinder was like new, but the skirt on the piston was thin, IMO just not a good piston to start with. I have currently 5 036 s and sevaral 026 s as all are in good shape..

Here is the one I paid $500 for that is a new saw (has a little dust on it)

I stole this one on Ebay for $175 as it was just listed.. Currently in its work clothes..
