This just rolled in as a barn find. Was told to take a look at it and see what I thought.

I really don’t think much of it. Seems big and heavy, but looks to be in fairly good shape. Haven’t done anything yet but pull it over. It’s free and has some compression. Have pulled the plug or muffler yet to get a look at the piston. The carb set up is weird, that hole area needs to be cleaned.

Are these worth messing with or should I put it up for sale as a parts machine?

The owner either wants it running or gone. Not sure if it really matters which one happens.

I tore it down. The intake boot almost looks like it was never installed correctly. It’s still pliable, but will replace if I try to get it running. The fuel line is rock hard.l

Still haven’t pulled the muffler. That’s my next step before anything else.
