Sorry probably an old old question.
Still wonder if I can do anything about bar oil leak. I just bought this saw (11/25/12) off the neighbor very cheap. Lady sold it to me dose not know anything about it or its use. Looks like only used once if at all. I say that because it at one time was loaded with the bar oil untill leaked out into its box. It had gas in it but I won't start it untill I drain gas and put new mixture init. No signs of wood chips or saw dust. I know from much searching around on the net that a lot of different brand saws do leak there bar oil. So is the only fix I've heard is to drain the bar oil after each use when putting away? Or is there some thing you guys have come up with your own fix. I used to work on a borough street department. Those saws did not leak. Anyway Monday have to get oil mix and bar oil. Don't even know if it will start right away. For the money no problem. Thanks
