Homelite and Textron

Does anyone know when Textron bought homelite? I looked at my 7-19 and noticed it says
Homelite
A division of Textron
Right on the tag. this saw was made in 1958, or 1959.

Textron owned Homelite from the early 1950's to the mid 1990's.
