Dude! Your supposed to hold on to the start handle with the off hand when you drop it!
Those 900 series are spunky. Compression is often 190 - to 200+.
They like to kick back as well.

It fired on the first pull. Seller says it has 180 PSI and I believe it.

Just got a note from the administrator of House of Homelite that he no longer has time to maintain the site and is looking to sell it.
It's too bad. Some good info over there but not much traffic unfortunately.

I used to hang out there a lot, then some mis-communication went on about what was meant by a member and a sh!t storm of stupid ensued and it just slowly dried up.
Anyone else here form there I see dan a bit and saw-bones but many of the heavy homie guys are quiet.

I have, for cutting ice or cutting 8" white pine cants in a race it was fine.

Just checked email and saw RBW's message also . Very sad, of course shouldn't be surprised really. It has been very slow there for a while now. Feeling a bit guilty since I haven't been contributing much at all lately. Lots of things going on in addition to saws... just hard to find the time. Hopefully someone will pick it up and be able to turn things around.
