I did find the part number listed at Jacks Small Engine but is listed as NLA. I guess finding one NOS or on a dead saw is my only shot.

Yours is the only saw from that series that I have ever seen with a chain brake. I suspect that it will be an exceedingly rare part. Chainsawlady might be a good place to start. I think, however, that your only real chance of repairing the brake is to adapt simmering from another saw.
 
Thanks for the reply. This morning I removed the broken band and will use the saw as is untill I can find one or adapt one. 20 years ago I would have thought nothing of taking a part like that off and never replacing it but as I get older I like to keep safties in place.
